Against All Hope

My declaration’s a destination: Participation in restoration

So hold fast to your faith and don’t budge and inch

Give God all glory and make all hell flinch…

And cower down

The righteous shall live by faith

Not by shrinking back and hiding our face-es

But by holding fast to our sacred hope

Lest our hearts falter at the King’s final stroke of His quill

My declaration’s a destination: Participation in restoration

When the darkness closes in on us

We press into faith in Christ who fulfills all trust

Our declaration is a weapon wielded by the mouth

Counting all as righteousness that triumphs over doubt

Just like the Ancients

Jah, make me like the Heroes, of whom Hebrews names a few

Not double-minded, but (w)Hol(l)y Spirit infused:

I’m Able

I No-ah guy

E-noch-ed at the front door,

Said, “Giddy up and Gideon.

Check Jo-Seph, lest you wreck yo-self.”

Not just Sam-son, (but) God’s Son

She ended up, just like the Sarah-phim

He said, “God’s good; Isaac-rifice myself.

He Mo-ses (𝘀𝗲𝗜𝘀) now than many ever could

These Heroes of the faith help teach us to triumph 🎵right from where they stood!🎶

Against all hope, Abe faced the facts:

As good as dead, he wavered not in acts

That same credit as righteousness he obtained,

Through belief in Christ— risen again —to it we too lay claim; to say…

My declaration’s a destination: Participation in restoration
