Daunting and Imposing

Over-bearing and Ominous

I feel insignificant and incapable of affecting change

Unable to even scratch the surface of a diamond-laced sewage casing ever-festering but never bursting

Like a serial killer massacre, the farther back I look the more filth I see, and the larger the web of pus-filled infection goes

Nihilism vibrates from demonic centers of power

And I ask God, "How can there be light in this looming tower?"

And yet, in all things God works together with those who love him to bring about what is good...
